Restore Healing Ministry is a Christian based Holy Spirit led prayer and counselling ministry. The purpose of the ministry is to establish a healthy and positive connection with Jesus in order to bring healing and wholeness in every area of a person’s life. The ultimate goal being a greater level of personal intimacy with Jesus, bringing a deeper level of understanding of the true nature of Jesus and His love for us.
Our Mission
The counsellor acts as a “coach” in helping you connect with Jesus in the present moment. Once a positive connection has been established Jesus reveals the areas in a person’s life that need to be healed. This may occur in several different ways with the job of the coach being led in response to Jesus and to help you stay interactively connected with Him, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The coach may use other healing prayers and processes depending on the direction healing is going.
EMOTIONAL PAIN: Sometimes Jesus will show us a memory of traumatic events that have happened to us at specific times in our life in order to heal anxiety, depression and emotional pain. During this time the coach may need to engage technics in dealing with dissociation and deliverance. This process will be explained to the person prior to ministering in this area.
PHYSICAL HEALING: Restore Healing Ministry believes in the truth of the biblical scriptures, the power of the Holy Spirit and the authority in the name of Jesus to work healing and miracles. We believe the commission to “lay hands on the sick and they will recover”, Mark 16:18.
Restore Healing Ministry also believes James 5:14 – 16 “Is anyone among you sick? He must call for the elders (Spiritual Leaders) of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him/her up and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to one another (your false steps, your offenses) and pray for one another that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much (when put into action and made effective by God – it is dynamic and can have tremendous power)”. In light of this scripture, our experience has been that sometimes emotional hurts and wounds can manifest in our body causing sickness and disease. Restore Healing Ministry seeks to be as thorough as possible in order to heal any areas that may prevent a person from receiving full healing.
